On Kindess (sort of)

I like this quote. I started to write a big long post about being kind to ourselves in trying times, but I just don't have it in me today. If you would like to read a diatribe on kindness, you can visit this previous post.

Be kind to all workers. As Drew Carey says, “Oh, you hate your job? Why didn't you say so? There's a support group for that. It's called EVERYBODY, and they meet at the bar.”

And a wise, yet hungry Dalai Lama said, “This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.”

he's smart. that's my most favorite thing that drew carey ever said. makes me laugh my ass off every time i hear it.

and if dave ever does anything squirelly to my food i'm blaming you.
